Stripe for nonprofits: a giving page your donors will actually use

Collect one-time gifts and monthly pledges on a branded donation page with suggested amounts or pay-what-you-want, paid straight into your own Stripe account. No developer, no monthly subscription.

No Stripe account? We set one up for you, free, as part of getting started.

Most small nonprofits don’t have a web team. They have a treasurer, a few volunteers and a cause that runs on steady giving. Stripe is a great way to take donations, but on its own it expects someone to build the donation form, set up recurring plans and keep track of who gave what. CrexiPay does that part for you. Create a giving page with your name and logo, choose suggested amounts or let donors pick their own, turn on monthly giving, and share one link by email, social media, a QR code on the bulletin or a button on your website. Every gift settles to your organization’s own Stripe account, and if you don’t have one yet, we help you set it up.

What you get

Everything a small nonprofit needs to take gifts online

Suggested amounts or give-what-you-want

Offer preset buttons like $25, $50 and $100 to nudge generous gifts, or leave the amount open so every supporter can give what they can.

Monthly giving on autopilot

Let donors turn a one-time gift into a monthly pledge. Stripe charges them automatically, so sustaining support arrives without anyone sending reminders.

A branded giving page

Your name, logo and cause front and center on a clean, mobile-friendly page, so donors know exactly who they are supporting.

One link, shared anywhere

Put your giving link in a newsletter, a Facebook post, a text to members or a QR code on a flyer, or add a donate button to your website with one snippet.

Every gift, tracked for you

See each donation and active monthly pledge in one dashboard, get an alert when a gift arrives, and donors get an emailed receipt automatically.

Your organization’s account

Donations land in your own Stripe account and pay out to your organization’s bank. CrexiPay never holds your funds, and card details stay on Stripe’s secure checkout.

Common questions

Questions, answered

Can a nonprofit use Stripe to accept donations?

Yes. Stripe works well for charities, churches, schools and community groups. What it doesn’t give you out of the box is a ready-made donation page or easy monthly giving. CrexiPay adds both on top of your own Stripe account, with no code.

Do we need a Stripe account or a website?

No. Your giving page is hosted for you, so you don’t need a website. If your organization doesn’t have a Stripe account yet, we help you create one during signup; if you already have one, you connect it in a couple of clicks. See how donations work in CrexiPay.

Can donors set up a recurring monthly gift?

Yes. Donors can choose to give monthly, and Stripe charges their card automatically each cycle. You can see every active pledge in your dashboard. Learn more about recurring billing with no code.

What does it cost a nonprofit?

CrexiPay charges a flat 2% per donation on top of Stripe’s standard processing fees, with no monthly fee, setup fee or contract. Stripe has historically offered discounted processing to eligible registered charities, so it is worth asking Stripe whether your organization qualifies. Estimate your fees →
