Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CrexiPay platform and website (the "Service"), provided by CrexiPay LLC ("CrexiPay", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What CrexiPay is

CrexiPay is a software platform that lets businesses ("Merchants") create payment requests and invoices and send them to their customers. Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") through the Merchant's own Stripe account. CrexiPay is not a bank, money transmitter, or payment processor, and does not take custody of funds. Your use of Stripe is also governed by the Stripe Services Agreement.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and credentials, including all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act for the business you represent. Accounts are created by invitation; you are responsible for the team members you invite.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy, the Stripe Services Agreement, and card network rules. You are solely responsible for the goods and services you sell and for the payment requests you send.

4. Fees

CrexiPay charges a flat platform fee of 2% per transaction, in addition to Stripe's card-processing fees. Fees are disclosed in the product before you send a request. Stripe's fees are governed by your Stripe agreement. We may change our fees on prospective notice.

5. Payments, refunds, and disputes

Payments are collected through the Merchant's Stripe account and settle to the Merchant on the Merchant's Stripe payout schedule. Refunds and chargebacks are handled through Stripe and are the responsibility of the Merchant. CrexiPay does not hold, disburse, or refund customer funds. Any dispute about a purchase is between the Merchant and its customer.

6. Merchant responsibilities

• Ensure every payment request is accurate and authorized by the customer being billed.
• Provide the goods or services being paid for and handle your own refunds and customer service.
• Comply with all applicable laws, tax obligations, and card network rules.
• Keep your account secure and only invite people you trust.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable but provide it "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrexiPay will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the platform fees you paid to CrexiPay in the three months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable rules, or to protect the Service, our users, or Stripe.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
